Galveston Texas December 22 United Press reports Governor Campbell has ordered the release of female inmates. Mrs Agnes Goode who faced a 38 year sentence for murder will be freed as part of the governor’s policy declaring the penitentiary not the place for a white woman. The measure expands releases from Texas state prisons ahead of Christmas Eve.
