Six month old Bobbie Sandholm underwent a blood transfusion from his mother after suspected mercury poisoning. Doctors planned to observe effects, with about an ounce of blood transfused after initial neck vein issues. The procedures followed tests of the mother's blood cultures, and the infant’s vitals remained stable shortly before noon.
