Nineteen year old Jennie Levine of Bil Inde av. sues Seattle Electric Co. for $2,000 claiming a car conductor ejected her after a bogus nickel dispute. She says she clutched the gate and fell to the pavement, aided by a strong‑arm man. Witnesses and the incident occurred near the Yester theatre and Rhodes ten cent store.
Louise Swan, daughter of a New York millionaire, vanished last July from her home. Her photo had appeared in newspapers nationwide as Santa Fe detectives traced her across the United States. She was located in Dodge City, Kansas, saying a love affair prompted her departure but offering no plan to return home.

Warren Camp 25 died from morphine overdose after a brief stop at Olympus Cafe. He left his room at the Plano at 11:45 and was found unconscious outside the door. Camp’s home was in Los Angeles and he resided in Seattle at the St George Apartments 14th avenue and Yesler.
Federal Circuit Judge Roblesat ruled for Chicago and denied City Gas Company’s bid for an injunction to block enforcement of the city ordinance. The ordinance fixes the rate at 70 cents.
