Coloma Wrecked Off Cape In Gale Reaches Shore

Fire in Post Street basement harms store. smoke damage high

Firemen battled a basement blaze under J Friedman & Sons at 903 First Ave. spontaneous combustion started the fire in a pile of rags. Captain William Hodder and several firefighters were overcome by smoke but the blaze was extinguished.
