Louie is linked to the Ring Keng Bow Leong tong, and bail was posted by A A McCafferty and Michael Cohen. The father Chin Dip hid fearing tong reprisal.
Detroit December 2 Bonds and counsel for any or all of the 134 men indicted by the federal grand jury at Grand Rapids in connection with the Newberry election will be furnished by Senator Newberry, according to a statement today by James Muffin, the senator's Detroit attorney.
Police magistrates released more than 200 persons to await grand jury action after a Sunday lid crackdown on Baltimore's blue law. One hundred twenty one men faced charges such as balancing books selling ice cream and dispensing pickles and gum.

Voters in Seattle race today for two school rectors term of years each with seventy five eligible to vote. Polls opened at eight this morning and will close at seven tonight. After polls close, results will be reported from the school district headquarters in the Central building. George H. Walker Santmyer lead slate with Lorene running as socialist candidate in 1904 and John Edwards independent labor. Professor Clifford W Ner listed but urged voters to back W and Santmyer after Kanth withdrew from race last Saturday.
Deputy Sheriff Fred A. Brown stopped his car on the James street bill between Fifth and Sixth avenues Monday night and entered a Jap laundry. He was considerably excited as he stood conversing with a Jap, the auto rolled in after it and its brakes had loosened.
