Oakland Harbor Plan Urged to Handle Industrial Growth

Oakland, Cal. December 1. Citizens demand a comprehensive harbor development plan to avoid shipping bottlenecks as industry expands. Hats For The Wet Weather In New York

As rainy weather arrives, a selection of waterproof hats is noted in New York. Styles include satin waterproof hats, black patent leather hats with quills, and leather hats gilded or silvered. Blistered leather makes the water proof effect fascinating. Carved animal heads form umbrella handles with wrist straps and moving mouths to hold small items. Blending black with brown or bronze footwear is chic. A bronze and black patent shoe with bronze stockings is new. An American court reporter recently wrote sixty words a minute for five minutes, then submitted a transcript with two material errors.
