Tragic Yacht Shooting Ends Holiday Party Affray

William N. Ward 23 died on board the Sabrina in Eagle Harbor after a gun discharged in his hands while he held his fiancée Agnes Stevenson. Ward died saying I love you and Oh as the gun fired. The couple were aboard with Stevenson’s sister and husband and Ward had planned a duck hunt and fried chicken on the yacht. Ward was a local wrestling champ and Sabrina had won exposition races. Stevenson, in fragile health, was cared for at her Brooklyn Avenue home after the tragedy.
