Lottery man in limbo in Montana probe

Daniel B. Jacobs secretary of the Montana Lottery Co. was arrested in Butte charged with sending lottery tickets from the state and released on 1000 dollar bond. Henry Traupt, company president, is in Spokane and under federal indictment, out on bond. The Montana Lottery offices were raided and tickets seized. Jacobs allegedly sent lottery paraphernalia to Kansas City and St Louis amid widespread Illinois Missouri activity. Tacoma man seeks missing shotgun after midnight streetcar incident leaves him uncertain and intoxicated.
