London Aug. 18 Zeppelins raided the east coast of England last night killing ten persons and wounding 36. It was the third air raid in two weeks with bombs dropped on churches and buildings. The admiralty credited British anti aircraft guns with damaging a Zeppelin and reported 100 deaths and 280 injuries from Zeppelins in England to date.

Governor to supervise probe of Leo Frank hanging

Atlanta Aug. 18 Governor Harris will oversee the investigation into the lynching of Leo Frank by about 20 men who dragged him from the Milledgeville prison farm. He seeks explanations of Milledgeville prison conditions and the lack of defense, and will examine Atlanta police action allowing crowds to view Frank's body. Frank’s body was by today en route to Brooklyn.
