Death by suicide of ex governor Stoneman's son in Seattle
C Mel Stoneman son of former California governor George Stoneman committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with a .32 revolver about 6 90 this morning in the Seattle Cereal Milling company engine room. He left letters alleging company looting, noted a $546 in his clothing, and named two women as involved with blackmail. He was 42, a night engineer, and his body was moved to Bonney-Watson morgue. coroner notified.
