Man Kills Married Woman Then Takes His Own Life
In San Francisco on August 7 George Forsyth 40 shot Catherine Odcker 35 at her home and killed himself. Fred Meeker husband of the wounded woman arrived after the shots and a doctor pronounced Forsyth dead. Odcker underwent emergency surgery but prospects remained grave with little hope of recovery. A mutual friend who was intoxicated visited during the episode.
