Decapitated corpses tied to New York court case

April 11 report states the bodies of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pair were decapitated and their skulls would be used in a New York court to challenge evidence from French men Mas and Morane though Mrs. Pair died naturally. The bodies, brought but not buried, stirred family friends as attorneys suspected Mrs. Nelson the mother of Mrs. Fair of trying to claim the estate. An attorney said eminent surgeons who examined the skulls would testify it was impossible for Charles Fair to have died before his wife.
