Former Minnesota figure Melvin Baldwin found dead in Beattie apartments
Melvin KR Baldwin ex congressman and former Indian affairs head under Cleveland was found dead in his Beattie apartment last evening. Baldwin, aged about 68, had lived in Beattie for three years and left a Duluth family. Despondency and illness are cited as possible causes.
