A 27 year old stenographer accused Dr Herbert W Hegele of offering work at a sanitarium in exchange for disrobing and a body massage. Police officer Lola Baldwin ordered Hegele’s arrest based on the woman's account and a second similar report. Hegele said nurses must undress for treatment.
