iP Asks Terminal for Franchises
Hertman presented a petition seeking two Pacific terminal trackage franchises from Georgetown to Seattle area depots. Franchise A covers a four track tunnel parallel to the Great Northern tunnel and connects with N P and U P routes near Wallat and Jackson. The E line follows joint ownership trackage from Atlantic Street to Seattle Boulevard linking to Union Pacific and Great Northern facilities.
