Americans to sign new treaty April twenty fifth
A treaty with Germany is to be presented on April 25, with Ambassador Ishii not expected back in America. In Seattle a federal case leads to six arrests for conspiracy to defraud the government by stealing whiskey from a U S customs warehouse. Two police officers and four others, including an auto mechanic and a drayman, are taken into custody. The stolen whiskey valued at about 25000 dollars was concealed in gunny sacks and partly found at a private house in Ballard and in a garage.

Paris April 15 The peace program was outlined for United Press with the treaty to be handed to Germany on April 25 and ratified by two thirds of governments within 20 to 30 days. The reparations minimum is placed at 25 billion dollars. The Little Five discussed final sessions and the league covenant as a plenary session is planned next week.

Naval Blowup Probe Opens For Sub Chaser 297
A board of inquiry under Rear Admiral William F. Fullam began investigating the explosion aboard the U S submarine chaser No 297. Sparks from wireless lines reportedly ignited gasoline aboard from a deck auto tank. Four of ten injured were in serious condition at Balboa Park Naval Hospital. Names include John Barron J Gaynor Joseph Chadderdon and W C Conover.

Indian Riots Grow Serious Across Cities
London reports serious riots in India on Friday and Saturday following deportations of agitators. In Amritsar a town bank and a warehouse burned. five Europeans killed. troops fired into crowds with nine dead and 21 wounded.
