A sandwich and malt par operated by L. F. Billings of Be mont Shore will occupy a new building at 117 Main Street. W. D. Gamntner plans construction next week if materials arrive. The building will be modernistic. Billings, WWII veteran, has been Pacific Coast manager for an eastern construction company.
City engineer Lee Whidden told the council to issue a purchase order to Pacific Electric for about 200 to excavate and place supports under its tracks for sewer installation at Seal Beach Trailer Park. PE action is required before sewer crossing the railroad right of way. Dolby, owner of the trailer park, will reimburse the city for these costs.
