At the Junior Woman's Club board meeting plans were made to sponsor a dance program by the Carolyn Cunningham School of Dance. The event will be at Seal Beach Elementary Auditorium June 15 at 8 p.m. Proceeds go to the Service Woman's Memorial Hospital in Yountville California. Admission is 35 cents. A crocheted chair and davenport set on display at Frosty Felts store will be given away.
Federal Auto Stamp On Sale At Post Office
Beginning June 11 the five dollar Federal Automobile Tax stamp will be sold at post offices with all vehicles to display it after July 1. Postmaster J Jolly Jones notes postal receipts for the three months ending May 31 rose 77 percent from last year, a rise he calls unusual across the nation.

Periscope Tops Target on Tank Battlelines
