On Monday night the city council, following Roy Thomas's recommendation, accepted the highest bid meeting specs for a Dodge cab over engine truck at 1900 dollars. Others ranged from 1546.61 for a 1944 Chevrolet to 1747 for an International. Two 1944 Ford bids were about 1700. The meeting also touched on a police radio purchase.
