Pleasantville New Jersey September 26 Jesse Lake renowned inventor died suddenly at his home at age. He was known for patenting many useful inventions though he did not gain a large fortune from his numerous ideas.
Sunbury Pennsylvania September 25 The twenty seventh district Democratic state senator selection met here and nominated John A. Gandy of Lewisburg for the Senate seat in a post primary event.
In Baltimore Maryland about 4000 spectators attended a Maryland ratification meeting of the National Democratic party at Mugle hall. Palmer and Buckner addressed the crowd praising the party while questioning Bryan’s silver policy and criticizing free silver. The hall filled with cheers for Palmer while many Republicans in attendance voiced support for McKinley.

McReesport Sept. 3 William Mev ere is in custody charged with the murder of Bravest Behullee. Yous Meyers allegedly threatened Behullee at the Joanie house and struck with a brick. The victim died yesterday morning.
