Conference Arranged Between Trainmen and Superintendent
Arrangements were made yesterday for a conference on Wednesday or Friday this week between the Lackawanna trainmen's committee and General Superintendent Charke. The trainmen deny summons of grand officers and say they did not know of Mr Wittertrick's present. They left Scranton Sunday night after visiting the local lodge. Grand Munter Morrisey was at the Pan American with his wife and later went to New York on private business. On the way they stopped to seek to owl train men. The trainmen's committee spent Sunday in Syracuse at the funeral of Mrs. Pretty, wife of a member who died Friday, and they brought a beautiful Moral offering.
