Runaway Horse Races Down Jackson Street injuring wagon
A horse pulling a light delivery wagon owned by H D Jones bolted on a Jackson Street morning run. Louis Jones, delivering foods on North Bromley Avenue, stepped inside a door as the animal dashed off and led to a wreck near Main Street when stopped by George Warnke. Several wagons lined the street as the horse leaped the route. The collision with a telegraph pole damaged the wagon and harness. A possible cause cited is stones from children’s sling shots.

Globe Sewing Machines Offer True Value Compared to Agents
Globe Sewing Machines claim superior quality achieved by genius and labor while contrasting their lower, intrinsic prices with higher rates charged by agents who claim big profits. They insist their machines are worth more than double their price by those agents, and that these marks cover bad debts and commissions.
