Borough meeting approves sidewalk grade plan on Second and Bacon
Last Wednesday a special borough meeting with most members present approved street committee plans for sidewalk work along Blocker Bros property on Second and Bacon streets. The grading starts at Second Street with four inch above crosswalk level toward Bacon Street and continues to the alley with that alignment. A resolution to purchase necessary flag and curb stone passed with Davis and Nurdish opposed. The walk line is set twenty five feet from street center. A grading crew worked yesterday on Stocker property and is near completion awaiting stone setting.
