Princeton students flood the town in joyous celebration after securing a football championship, with crowds piling wood, ringing bells, and marching through campus. The scene features a brass band, fireworks, and a decorated coach carrying the victorious Tigers.

In Baltimore at the Empire Athletic Club Charles Burns of Cincinnati stopped Frank Wonso of Norfolk in the third round. James Mc Cabe of Richmond earned a six round decision over Don Butler of Philadelphia.
Zaneaville Ohio November 2 The Ohio Tran company’s furnaces and rolling mills in this city the largest iron works in eastern Ohio shut down today due to lack of orders.
Harrisebury Pennsylvania reports that Governor Hintineston has granted another delay for Abraham J. Eckard the Lugerne county miner sentenced to death. Eckard has received multiple previous respites and remains scheduled for execution on December 8.
Frank Slavin of Australia quits in the fourth round after 2.56 of the fourth round against Bob Armstrong of Chicago at Union Park Athletic Club in New York. The bout ends with Armstrong declared winner by stoppage.

A large New Jersey delegation led by Senator Edward Stokes and Governor Griggs attended, receiving the monument on behalf of the state and war department.
The Atlantic League held its annual meeting at the Motel Hanover with smooth proceedings. Newark was awarded the pennant and Edward Burrows of Paterson, N J, was elected president for the ensuing year by a two to one vote. The league will play 140 games, 70 at home, starting May 1 for five months.
