Tragedy in Luzerne as farmer burns home then shoots self
In Dorrance township near Triangular Lake Joseph Kohnke a German born farmer set his farm ablaze then killed himself after threatening his wife. The fire destroyed his home and two barns with him found dead between beams his gun and ammunition nearby. He was 40 four sons and no heirs.
