Pendleton Manufacturing Co Faces Major Internal Rupture
A serious rupture between Pendleton Manufacturing officials occurred in this city last Saturday. The event led to the removal of General Manguer Curdon Pendleton and a nephew from Hendrick Manufacturing reportedly taking over. New officers include IL. A. Bassett as president and A. P. Trautwoein as treasurer. The company’s status remains unclear, with emphasis on the flux secret once held by Gates at Hendrick works. The anti rust metal touted as transformative for bicycles and corrosion resistant uses has faded from production, leaving workers unemployed and attracting strong industry interest.
