Hold Up on Penn Avenue Dims Osbourne’s Tale
Bb E Osbourne a Auburn New York commercial traveler says two men robbed him at Penn avenue and Spruce Street Thursday night. A revolver was leveled at his ear and he was relieved of 44 dollars while the other man rifled his pockets of 45 in bills. Osbourne avoided crying out to protect his family. He reported to Chief Robling who allegedly refused to investigate and spoke harshly. He cites travel via Bing hamton and a stop at the White House dining room where two men directed him to a back room and then followed him after the theft. The bartender offered little helpful comment. The White House recently received a license renewal with Judge Archdale warning stricter conduct.
