Negligence question in Henne versus People's Street Railway case

Judge Willard of the Superior Court affirms a lower court ruling in the case of Albert Henne v. People's Street Railway Co. The jury awarded 75 dollars to the plaintiff. The opinion reviews whether parental negligence or the carrier’s duty governed the incident in which a child was killed on a streetcar track. The court concludes the lower court correctly left questions of contributory negligence to the jury and rejects the argument that the parents were liable for the child’s unattended actions.
