Hospital Changes Reflect Pride in Lackawanna Facility
Lackawanna hospital authorities praise recent rear building improvements funded by state appropriations. Contractor Conrad Behroeder oversaw work including a small brick wing on Franklin avenue serving as a waiting room. The eye and ear unit now occupies the former recovery room with modern apparatus and staff doctors Frey and Mears. A new floor in the accident room and a large laundry facility with five bedrooms above enhance hospital operations.
