Wilkes Barre Pa June 22 A ball game at Laurel Hill Athletic Grounds near Weatherly ended with a cave in under the shortstop position. Shortstop Blackwell had a close call and fainted after realizing his escape from a 40 foot deep hole that opened where the ground had long been undermined. The Weatherly and Laurel Hill clubs paused play and spectators moved to safety as the area was evacuated.
