Scranton Miners Lose a Thunderous Buffalo Debut

Scranton played its first Buffalo game of the season before about 1500 fans. Buffalo won 9 to 7 as Gungon erred on a fly ball in the fifth, opening the floodgates for seven runs. Gillon pitched unevenly, Gray struggled early but steadied later, and Scranton's infield played well apart from the misplay. Meaney and Daly were combo replacements in the outfield for Scranton as the crowd saw a hard fought, high scoring affair.
