Strange Flower Scents and Pantry Misadventures Reported

A disjointed tale describes a woman breaking a pin tray and mixing talcum powder with paper and trinkets. Vaseline and cold cream are used in the concoction, while a small coin bank is left behind. Photographs scatter as a mother appears, and a baby commands shoes. A Massillon dispatch details a fragrant plant growing tall like a lilac, shipped to a railway station, then spreading death via flies. The story links a yellow scented flower to a gravel soil near a city, thriving in a sand and gravel pit south of town.
