First Louisiana Revolution Emerges in New Orleans 1768

In 1768 Louisiana's cession to Spain sparked an uprising led by Lafreniere and fellow revolutionaries. They seized New Orleans, expelled Ulloa, and established a brief autonomous movement aligning Acadian exiles and German colonists against Spanish rule.
