McHenry of Jeannette accuses James Thompson of causing a dangerous gunshot. The report notes other local incidents including a fatal burn in St Mauritus parochial school and legal actions in Carlisle and Schuylkill County.

Baker of Kansas pressed for changes, others warned of division in the finance committee and regional interests in crockery tobacco and storage products influenced possible edits.

Arno E. Korb, 27, was found dead in his bed on December 27 with a gas jet leading to his mouth. His wife Marie, semi conscious, reportedly attempted suicide by cutting her wrist and was treated at Bellevue hospital. Korb had defaulted over $70,000 to Vietor and Achells, geonard street dry goods merchants, and his death is shrouded in mystery linked to financial stress. The couple lived in a well furnished home and Korb previously expressed fear of insanity.
Greensburg Pa Jan 7 a boiler exploded at Latrobe Steel works today injuring possibly eight K Wagner and John Rodgers among those hurt as the building was badly wrecked and damaged.
