TUNKHANNOCK BOOM WEALTH OF RECENT BUILDING REPORT
Special to the Bereton Tribune reports on W Dean Sampson’s borough review in Tunkhannock. Over three years the town built more houses and stores, with Jennings and Bickler blocks on Tioga street and Stark brock remodelling. Public works include an electric plant, a $25 000 river bridge purchase, a $9000 monument, a $6000 sewer system, and a town wide telephone network. Industries plan a cutting factory and woolen mill, both locally owned. A parklike connection with Beranton would ease freight and improve prospects.
