Light Penetrates Wood Marvelous Roentgen Findings
New Haven Feb 6 Arthur W Wright of Yale has produced perhaps the first cathode photograph in the United States. He photographed his left hand with bone detail and shading showing color and tendons. The experiment used a Crookes tube, five batteries, and a large induction coil. Wright notes corking results from negative pole rays and that wood and leather allow light through while glass resists. A rabbit test showed internal detail through fur though plate issues occurred. He foresees a revolution once perfected.
