Dun's Review of Trade Shows Mixed Week for New York Markets
The weekly trade review notes no standout business surge but overall favorable results. Textile prices ease by 10 to 20 percent due to the American Woolen Co. reduction, while iron and steel lines show scarce advances. Wire, oil, and wool demand shift with various contracts and export orders, and a surge in wool sales in the eastern markets appears modest after a quiet period.
