Resignation Read by Lackawanna Water Committee

About thirty of the one hundred water committee members met last night in a Corncr room and read the executive committee resignation published earlier. Mayor Kilpatrick and Attorney Stuart spoke with conciliatory and condemning tones. A motion to accept the resignation failed and the committee was enlarged to seven then authorized Humphrey and Kilpatrick to name new members, with no names named yet. Over 600 contracts were slated and the treasurer reported finances.
