Exceptions To The Charter Hearings On Polish National Church
Lawyers argued exceptions to the incorporation of St Stanislaus Polish National Church of Scranton. The case centered on whether the name and doctrine could mislead into thinking it Roman Catholic. Parish head Father Houdar defended the church and outlined its Polish language ceremonies and separate discipline.
