Boxing Bout Ends In Foul Decision At Music Hall
In Scranton last night the main bout between Jack Tigue and Bill Poole ended with a foul in the eighth round as Poole wrapped Tigue around the neck and flung him through the ropes. Referee Murphy awarded the decision to Tigue amid a postfight melee. Earlier, Fred Duggan defeated Titus Griffiths in four rounds, and a four man battle royal preceded the main events at Music Hall. Over 400 spectators attended a varied program featuring Jim Judge and Tommy Ryan to be decided later.
