Otis L. Glynn of Philadelphia was seized by Chief of Police Roney in Du Bois on charges of forgery and swindling. He allegedly posed as manager of a Philadelphia commercial collective agency, targeting banks and fake firms. A $200 reward prompted the arrest. he was taken to Williamsport after capture.
New York August 24 The committee of 100 on Jovian relief received a doublegram from William T Pee United States donor at Bombay chairman of the Amero Indian relief committee describing the distress as appalling. The message warns of starvation and asks for immediate aid noting women and children in peril and many boys and girls in need.
Withee Fane, 24, of Terry Gervleon aunt for a building and loan society in Pireton, was arrested at Klovir today and charged with embezzlement. He appeared before Magistrate Loftus and is held on $1,000 bail for a further hearing Monday. Corrivon, formerly principal of West Hittaton schools, was mentioned in connection with the case.
