A large crowd attended the Elmhurst boulevard speedway meet staged by the recently formed West Side Driving club. Frances d. won the first race. Kitty BE. captured the 200 class. Sleepy John won the club race. two starters competed in the running race with Scottie Billy victorious. A meeting of the club is set for next Monday evening to discuss club affairs. Prof Daniel W Phillips and his wife returned home after a year away, welcomed by friends. he has been named principal of public school No 1.
