Waiting list rules settle strike era employee rotations
The arbitration decision preserves waiting list status for those on the list before September 20 1901 with regular runs promised once the strike ends or wage compensation if runs remain unavailable. Ex-strikers gain precedence for regular runs and continued pay parity if regular work isn’t provided. The decision favors arbitration and business methods over side outcomes.
