The note questions who sent the marked copy and why it was sent, suggesting possible intent to provoke controversy. The piece signals concern over alleged historical inaccuracies in a Mass Liturgy address at the Sisters' Institute.
Elijah and Elisha Transition in Prophet Leadership
The lesson reviews how Elijah’s earthly career ends and Elisha inherits his mission. It notes the two kinds of prophets, the witness at Jordan, Elisha’s request for a double portion, and the mantle as a symbol of office. It concludes with continuity in divine calling and the need for God’s Spirit on the successor.

Clerical Controversy Over Latin Mass The Use of Latin
Rev. F Coffey of St Rose Church, Carbondale, defends his lecture on the Liturgy of the Mass against Rev Nash. He argues mass was not universally in Latin from the start, cites languages of Judea, and notes western Latin usage while acknowledging Eastern practices. He contends Nash misrepresented his notes and asserts proper historical nuance.
