FOCUS program widens to youth wellness and fundraising
The Silver program expands to youth wellness with Project Fit America funding at Corbin schools. It funds fitness gear and aims to teach parents that cheap fast food can lead to costly future illnesses. The Silver Ball Gala raised about 50 thousand dollars as the primary fundraiser, with donations still encouraged to sustain outreach. A Chamber meeting sponsored by Forest Bank was held, with the Southern Kentucky Chamber planning the next gathering at the Cumberland Inn in Williamsburg.
