Woman hurt in two car crash in Scottsdale
A 21-year-old Scottsdale woman Linda Osborne was treated and released at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital after a two car crash at 68th Street and Latham around 8:20 p.m. Osborne was cited for failure to yield right of way. Penny Nassar 29 of 1302 N 71st St was uninjured along with a passenger in her car.

Four School Board Candidates Meet Twice in Scottsdale Forum

Theft of color television from Vernon residence
A color television valued at 400 dollars disappeared from the James Plunkett home at 8702 E Vernon between 7 30 and 7 45 p m Tuesday. Three witnesses are being interviewed and describe the suspect as a 16 to 18 year old male about 5 feet 5 inches tall with black hair wearing a white T shirt and blue jeans. He allegedly forced entry by breaking a kitchen door window.

Scottsdale teachers face decision on days off for conventions
Scottsdale Board of Education tabled a plan to grant both Scottsdale teachers organizations a day off for their conventions and add an extra day at school end.
