Postal Receipts Jump 50 Percent in Scottsdale
Postal receipts at the Scotts dale post office rose 50 percent in the latest four weeks versus the same period a year ago. Receipts reached 42,534.02, up from 28,075.08, with mail volume rising 26.5 percent to 2,185,000 pieces. Outgoing mail up 27.3 percent and incoming mail up 26.2 percent. Fiscal year receipts total 114,008.00 against 83,569.00 at this point last year.

Woman Hurt In One Car Crash In Scottsdale Road
Emma McCall 28 a Coronado High cafeteria helper was injured in a one car crash on South Scottsdale Road. She suffered a back injury and bruises after swerving to avoid another vehicle and hitting a pole. She was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital and released to her home.
