Charles E Franklin to Head Arizona State Fair Department
Charles E Franklin, superintendent of the agricultural department, is announced as the Arizona native chosen to lead the 1952 State Fair to be held in Phoenix from November 7 to 16. Born in Tempe and long a Salt River Valley resident, Franklin studied at the University of Arizona and has worked in agricultural management and citrus packing in Tempe. He is married with twin sons and a daughter.
