Also killed were Harold Hanks 44 and Elise Hamlet Hanks 34 both of Fort Wayne. The victims were taken to a Kingman mortuary pending arrangements.

Horse Shooting Claim Declared Unfounded by Police
Police chief Walter Nemetz announced the investigation found the alleged shooting of eight year old quarter horse Lady at Sam Flake’s pasture was unfounded. Livestock Inspector Joe Samsell and Dr Richard Hancock found no buckshot while the horse recovered from a blood ailment. Flake alleged vandals or hunters shot the mare four times.
