UPI reports Senator Eastland chairman of the Senate judiciary committee urged Acting Attorney General Ramsey Clark to pursue criminal charges against Stokely Carmichael for urging draft resistance. Renewed calls came from D Miss lawmakers who say Carmichael defied laws by inciting disobedience to Hershey and the selective service.
